Man, 79, allegedly kidnaps, abuses wife, 77
Police arrested today a 79-year-old man suspected of kidnapping and abusing his 77-year-old wife on Saturday in Honolulu.
The couple got into an argument while riding in a vehicle.
Police said the man restrained the woman and physically abused her in the car at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and later released her.
Police were later called and they arrested the man this afternoon on suspicion of kidnapping, abuse and abuse-warning.
