On the Move: Queen’s Medical Center, Hawaii Health at Work Alliance

>> The Queen’s Medical Center has announced that Ann Kemp has received the Ho‘omau Award, which recognizes longevity of service. She volunteered at the hospital on holidays and weekends as well as volunteered to play one of Santa’s elves during the Christmas holidays. Kemp also sews stuffed teddy bears for pediatric patients at Queen’s. During a recent Queen’s Medical Center’s appreciation luncheon, Kemp received a monetary award and a trophy, and her name will be put on a perpetual plaque.

>> Hawaii Health at Work Alliance, a UHA subsidiary, has announced that Roland Manangan is the company’s first wellness ambassador. He was previously vice president of business development at Fidelity Investments in Belle­vue, Wash. Prior to that, Manangan served in other positions at Matrix Finance & Accounting, LPL Financial and Integrity Financial Corp., which are all in Bellevue.
