Ward Avenue reopens after oil spill mopped up


    Police directed traffic at the intersection of Beretania Street and Ward Avenue this morning after an oil spill closed a section of Ward Avenue.

Police have reopened all lanes of Ward Avenue from S. King Street to S. Hotel Street after firefighters cleaned up an oil spill in the area today.

The spill was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. today.
