I think most people do not disagree with taking in the unfortunate people seeking asylum (“Trump should heed UN humans rights declaration,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, July 12). What we object to is the downright invasion with no regard for due process. When you see hordes of people cutting through and scaling a fence, is that normal civilized behavior? If hordes of people decided they wanted to barge onto your property for shelter and escape from violence, you’d say, “E komo mai”? They need to take a number, apply and wait their turn. Period.
