A tie game at halftime turned into a blowout victory for No. 13 Oregon, which ran away from Hawaii 89-64 in a nonconference basketball game on Saturday in Eugene, Ore.

Eddie Stansberry had a game-high 24 points for Hawaii (6-3), which dropped to 1-32 all-time against ranked teams on the road.

Stansberry came out hot hitting four of his first five attempts from 3 and had 14 points at halftime as Hawaii stayed even with the Ducks at 34-all at intermission.

Oregon (7-2) started the second half with a 20-1 run and outscored the ‘Bows 55-30 after the break to end a two-game losing streak.

The Ducks finished the game shooting 63 percent (32-for-51) from the field.

Stansberry hit seven 3’s before leaving the game for the first time with three minutes remaining.

Freshman Justin Webster led the bench with 12 points and Dawson Carper added 11 points and five rebounds.

Drew Buggs had a team-high eight assists but was 0-for-8 from the field and did not score.

Up next for the ‘Bows is a home game against Samford next Sunday followed by the start of the Diamond Head Classic on Dec. 22.
