The Bed Bath and Beyond in Ward Village will be closing sometime in early 2020.

Bed Bath and Beyond in Ward Village will be closing sometime in early 2020, a store employee said Monday night.

Closing store signs were put up on Dec. 3, after employees were informed just a couple days prior.

Items are being discounted by 20 to 40% as the store looks to clear its inventory.

The employee said the Pearlridge Center store will stay open, but that there are no other plans to open another store to replace the one closing.

The Ward location opened in 2013, while the one in Pearlridge first opened in 2010.

USA Today reported in October that the chain will close 60 locations in early 2020.
