An unidentified male entered an elderly Punchbowl woman’s apartment and held her against her will in a kidnapping and burglary case, the Honolulu Police Department reported.

The suspect entered the 87-year-old woman’s apartment around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday before fleeing the scene. HPD did not say if the suspect took anything from the woman’s apartment, but on Wednesday filed the case as a kidnapping and first-degree burglary.

The woman was not injured, and police have not made an arrest.
