Honolulu police arrested a 38-year-old woman in Waianae late Thursday after she escaped from police custody Monday while she was being treated at The Queen’s Medical Center.
An anonymous tipster called 911 and reported Jamille Estrella’s location. Police arrested her at Akowai Road just after 11:40 p.m.
Police arrested Estrella Monday on a warrant issued in August in connection with a charge for promoting a dangerous drug, according to court records.
Police said she was taken to Queen’s where she was being treated by a physician at 4:45 p.m. when she escaped.
Police did not say why she was being treated at Queen’s.
