Hawaii Pacific Health will once again bring its mobile COVID-19 Vax Squad bus to Honolulu Zoo this Friday.
The bus will be parked from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the zoo’s Gate 6 on Monsarrat Avenue. Both walk-ins for first doses and scheduled appointments will be available. Free admission to the zoo will be offered to those who make an appointment for a vaccine.
Since HPH first launched its mobile COVID-19 Vax Squad on May 6, it has administered more than 10,000 vaccine doses.
For the week ending July 11, HPH has administered nearly 23,898 doses at its Pier 2 Vaccination Center, Vax Squad mobile clinics and Wilcox Medical Center Vaccination Center on Kauai.
Mobile clinics are still scheduled across Oahu throughout the summer.
The Vax Squad team will make its first trip from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday to Pearlridge Center, where vaccinations will be available to individuals ages 12 and up. The team will be stationed on the second level of Pearlridge Mauka between Hickam Federal Credit Union and Genki Sushi.
Mobile vaccine clinics are also scheduled this Saturday at Ka Makana Alii in Kapolei, this Sunday at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, and on Aug. 7 at Wakele Shopping Center.
The mobile clinic will return to Pearlridge Center and Ka Makana Alii on Saturday, July 24.
Walk-ins are welcome, although appointments are encouraged. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit HawaiiPacificHealth.org/COVIDVaxSquad.
