Witnesses sought in Waipahu murder case

At about 8 a.m. Thursday, a 47-year-old man identified as Jon Tokuhara was discovered dead at the Tokuhara Acupuncture and Healthcare clinic located at 94-310 Waipahu Depot St. with fatal injuries sustained by a gunshot wound, according to a CrimeStoppers news release today.
CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in locating witnesses in connection with a murder case in Waipahu.

In posts on social media, Tokuhara’s friends expressed shock over Tokuhara’s death and extended their condolences to his family. He was described as a smart and athletic man and a devoted son and uncle.
