Rare botanical prints

On display at Bishop Museum are 19th-century botanical prints donated by the late Donald Hibbard Angus. The rare illustrations can be viewed in the Picture Gallery alongside plant species from the museum’s botany collection. Also on exhibit are recently restored artworks, including an 1847 painting of William Charles Lunalilo as a boy and David Hitchcock’s "Mokuaweoweo Crater During Eruption of 1896." A benefit dinner for the Picture Gallery and Art Restoration Fund is tomorrow at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Ala Moana Center. Call 848-4170.
