Police are asking the public’s help in finding two men wanted for questioning in the disappearance of David Pukahi.

Pukahi, 54, was last seen on April 6 at about 1:10 p.m. with Gabriel Schimidt and possibly another man identified as Shawn Hardy. Police said they were seen leaving Emerson Road in Haleiwa in a dark blue Chevrolet Silverado truck, and Pukahi has not been seen or heard from since.

Schimidt is 38 years old, 6-feet tall, weighs 195 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Hardy is 44, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weights 165 pounds, and is bald with blue eyes.

Pukahi is described as 5-feet, 1- inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.

Police said last week that witnesses saw two men hit a 54-year-old man on the head and drive away with him in Haleiwa on April 6. Detectives were investigating the case as a kidnapping and assault.
