Water pipe repairs close Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay Nature Park is closed Wednesday so crews can repair a water pipe break in the lower park, city officials said.
The break has shut off water to the restrooms at the beach, necessitating the closure of the park.
The upper parking area, including the visitor center, remains open for sightseeing.
In January, the park was closed for 90 minutes due to a sewage backup in the lower park area. No sewage was spilled.
