Hawaii guard Garrett Nevels (1) waves to the audience for the last time during Senior festivities after a men's college basketball game between the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaii lost its final home game 98-90 to the Gauchos.

The University of Hawaii announced on Thursday a four-person search advisory committee for its selection of a men’s basketball coach.

The committee is comprised of: UH women’s basketball coach Laura Beeman; director of compliance Amanda Paterson; director of student affairs Stacey Price; and assistant vice chancellor of undergraduate education Dr. Ronald Cambra.

They will work on a recommendation with incoming athletic director David Matlin.

“Our expectation is that the process for hiring our men’s basketball coach will be quick and seamless,” Manoa chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman said in a statement. “I am looking forward to receiving a recommendation so we can complete the search and ensure our basketball program continues to move forward.”

Associate athletic director Carl Clapp and human resources specialist Paula Nishimoto will provide “administrative support” for the committee, according to UH’s news release.

Thursday is the final day for prospective candidates to submit an application.
