Aloha Green LLC on S. King St. opened its doors for the first time to patients purchasing medical cannabis on Wednesday. The process of admitting people into the dispensary was slow due to network problems with the state registry system. Pictured is Aloha Green, Director of Intergrated Strategy, Helen Cho assisting Harry Buquet outside of the dispensary. Buquet has brain cancer and uses medical cannibis to help him sleep and combat nausea. “It’s a blessing that this place is open,” said Buquet.
