Police arrest 59-year-old man in downtown Honolulu bank robbery

Police arrested on Monday a 59-year-old man for allegedly trying to rob a bank downtown.

The man entered the bank at 2:12 p.m. Monday and asked for money, police said.

The tellers, two women and a man, did not give him any money, and called police.

Officers arrested him on suspicion of second-degree robbery and two warrants.
