6 people, including 4 children, injured in Maili collision

Emergency Medical Services personnel transported four children and two women to the hospital tonight after a two-vehicle collision in Maili.

The collision occurred at about 7:20 p.m.at the intersection of Farrington Highway and Gilipake Street.

EMS paramedics assessed, treated and transported the four children, ages 7 and 8 and two 9-year-olds, to an area hospital in stable condition. All four were riding in one vehicle, according to EMS.

EMS also treated the two drivers at the scene and transported them.

A 61-year-old woman was taken to a trauma center in serious condition.

The other woman, whose age was not immediately known, was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
