Seattle Seahawks center Max Unger, a Hawaii Preparatory Academy graduate, was named to his first Pro Bowl today.
Unger was selected as the NFC’s starting center for the NFL all-star game set for Jan. 27 at Aloha Stadium. He is backed up by Jeff Saturday of the Green Bay Packers.
Unger, 26, is in his fourth season with the Seahawks and has started 15 games this season for a Seattle offense that ranks second in the league in rushing with 161.7 yards per game and has averaged 50 points in its last three games.
