Boy arrested for allegedly stealing a school’s laptop computer
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy today who allegedly stole a school-owned laptop from a boys’ restroom at Kalani High School on April 28.
Police said the laptop was equipped with a recovery system that traced the suspect’s name and address.
Police tracked down the boy and he confessed to the theft.
Police recovered the laptop and arrested him Tuesday. He was released pending investigation.
