A 64-year-old woman was in critical condition after she was hit by a UPS truck while crossing Paiwa St. last night in Waipahu.

Traffic investigators said the Waipahu woman was in a crosswalk when the truck, driven by a 32-year-old Ewa Beach man, made a left hand turn to Paiwa St. from Hiapo St. at about 6:06 p.m. and hit the pedestrian.

The woman suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
