A memorial service for Mosi Tatupu will be held tomorrow at Punahou School’s Thurston Memorial Chapel.
Visitation starts at 12:30 p.m., with the service to begin at 1:30 p.m.
Tatupu established himself as one of the state’s greatest prep athletes as a multi-sport standout at Punahou. He went on to a college career at USC and became a fan favorite over a 14-year NFL career, the majority with the New England Patriots. He died in Attleboro, Mass., on Feb, 23 at age 54.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a fund benefiting youth football in American Samoa. Checks should be made out to USA Football, with "Mosi Tatupu Memorial Fund" on the memo line and mailed to USA Football, c/o Mosi Tatupu Memorial Fund, 8300 Boone Blvd., Suite 625, Vienna, VA 22182.
