Police arrested a 22-year-old man who allegedly stole a woman’s purse early yesterday morning in Waikiki.
Police said the 23-year-old woman was walking along the street at 5:05 a.m. when the man approached from behind and allegedly snatched her purse.
Officers stopped a man who matched the woman’s description of the thief. In a field line-up, the man was identified and arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
The man was later released pending investigation.
