A suspected shoplifter allegedly attacked a security guard who had chased him from a Kapolei store yesterday, police said.
The 46-year-old man was arrested for investigation of robbery in the second degree after he allegedly shoplifted merchandise from the unidentified store at 2:30 p.m., police said.
The suspect allegedly attacked one of the security guards who pursued him from the store, police said.
Honolulu police officers found the suspect nearby and arrested him, police said.
