KITV President and General Manager Mike Rosenberg will retire at the end of the year, he announced to staff this morning.

His 40-year career in broadcasting began as a researcher at NBC. He has worked primarily in sales and administration since then.

Rosenberg, 63, said he leaves the station "well-positioned" for future growth. Station parent Hearst Television has begun the search for his successor.
