Leahey, Eldredge to debut new show

Jim Leahey and Pal Eldredge will team up to do a radio show beginning Monday on KKEA 1420-AM dubbed "Makule Monday."

The award-winning broadcaster and legendary coach will hold court during a weekly 1-hour show at 7 p.m.

Leahey has been broadcasting Hawaii sports since 1974 and Eldredge has been a baseball coach and scout. The pair also team up to broadcast UH baseball on KFVE.

 

Fans have a say in HPU Hall of Fame

Hawaii Pacific is taking nominations for its inaugural hall of fame class, which will be inducted in January.

Fans can nominate their favorite Sea Warriors coaches and athletes by visiting goseawarriors.com until Sept. 30. Any former student athlete, coach, administrator, support personnel or team is eligible to be nominated, but nominees should have displayed good sportsmanship, high character and integrity.
