With Johnny Depp and crew gone from Hawaii after weeks of location shoots for the latest “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie, the stars of “Battleship” are coming ashore to begin their scenes in front of the camera for the Universal blockbuster.
Cast member Rihanna said on her verified Twitter account that she’ll be working on the movie for the next two weeks.
“HAWAII … Hawaii … hawaii … who wouldn’t want to work here for 2 weeks,” she wrote.
She is soon to be joined on set by “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard, according to reports.
Also starring in “Battleship,” loosely based on the Milton Bradley board game, is Taylor Kitsch of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and TV’s “Friday Night Lights.”
