Waikele outlets host holiday sale

Waikele Premium Outlets is hosting a Labor Day weekend sales event tomorrow through Monday, with several stores offering extra discounts on top of the center’s usual savings of 25 percent to 65 percent.

Fashion show and music at Waikoloa

Waikoloa Beach Resort will be host this weekend to a fashion show, "Hoku Malama," as part of its fourth annual Hawaiian Cultural Weekend and Hawaii Island Festivals 30 Days of Aloha.

The Hawaiian Elegance Fashion Show takes place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, preceded by boutique sales from 10:30 a.m., an 11 a.m. Na Palapalai concert, and noon brunch.

Presented during the show will be contemporary women’s wear created by kumu hula Nalani Kanaka’ole for Sig Zane Designs, the Hilo-based designer of signature aloha fashions.

The event takes place in the Hilton Waikoloa Village Monarchy Ballroom, with tickets selling for $45 through 5 p.m. Saturday and $50 at the door. Admission includes self-parking, the brunch buffet, concert and show. Funds raised will benefit the Moku O Keawe Foundation.

Sephora opens new spot in Waikiki

Sephora will open its third Hawaii boutique tomorrow, the latest at the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. The new 7,458-square-foot store will house more than 13,000 beauty products, tools, bath-and-body care items and fragrances, from more than 200 brands.

Sephora sales associates will be able to share the latest products and trends for the fall season. While there, sign up to become one of the company’s Beauty Insiders for access to rewards, store and online discounts, and insider-only special offers.

The new store is at 2250 Kalakaua Ave. at Royal Hawaiian Avenue. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

First anniversary sale at Nails La Vie
