Prosecutors charged a 19-year-old Palolo man with attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old relative and roommate on Ahe Street Saturday morning.
Curtis Etuale was being held on $50,000 bail and was to appear in District Court this morning.
Police said the Etuale and the other man argued over the use of a room and Etuale grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim several times.
Neighbors intervened and Etuale fled but officers located him across the street where he was arrested.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
