A 32-year-old man was grazed by a bullet on the right side of his head this morning from a person in a dark vehicle in Ewa Beach, police said.
The man told police he was talking with a woman on the sidewalk along Fort Weaver Road when he was grazed by the bullet above his ear, knocking him down about 2:15 a.m., police said.
The man walked to the nearest emergency room and checked himself in. He told police the vehicle came from behind and he wasn’t able to identify it. He also refused to identify the woman he was speaking with, police said.
Police have opened a second-degree attempted murder case.
