Deals accompany Italian film fest

Kahala Mall has partnered with Cinema Italiano in Hawaii to screen nine contemporary Italian films Sept. 23 to 26 at Consolidated’s Kahala Theatres, with details appearing in tomorrow’s TGIF section.

Coinciding with the event, some "reel deals" are being offered by participating Kahala Mall merchants to moviegoers who present their same-day ticket stubs between Sept. 23 and 30.

Participating in the promotion are Adore, The AVEDA Experience by Marsha Nadalin, Carousel Candyland, The Compleat Kitchen, Jeans Warehouse, Liang of Hawaii, Luxe Nail Spa, Mark’s Hallmark, My Wireless AT&T, The Paperie, Spa + Salon Marsha Nadalin, Therapy Boutique, VUE Hawaii, and Up & Riding.

New shops open at Ward Centre

Among the new stores you’ll see at Ward Centre are:

» All About Hawaii: Now open near Borders Books & Music. The store offers island-inspired apparel for women, including M.Mac and Noe Clothing, and sells bags, baby blankets, locally made cookies and salad dressing.

» Point Break opens today next to Taco Del Mar on the streetfront. The store offers custom epoxy surfboards and the latest in surf apparel and accessories for men and women.

Popular brands include Volcom, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, O’Neill, Reef, Fox Riders, Lost, Lucy Love, Havaianas and Melissa.

There is also a large assortment of dresses and Brazilian bikinis.
