Comedian Robin Williams will drop his "Weapons of Self Destruction" stand-up show on the Neal Blaisdell Arena for a single Hawaii performance on Nov. 22.

Tickets for the show start at $67 and will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Blaisdell Arena box office, TIcketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets at Walmart or by calling (800) 745-3000.

It’s the first time the award-winning actor has performed in Hawaii. The local stop follows his tour of Australia.

Williams hasn’t toured since 2002, when he returned to the stand-up stage after a 16-year hiatus. His latest show features the comic’s unique brand of high-energy comedy and trademark free associations and riffs on current social and political issues, promoters said.

His Hawaii appearance is being presented by Chicago-based Jam Theatricals.

Williams’ acting and stand-up performances have earned him an Academy Award, two Emmys, four Grammys and six Golden Globes, including the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award.
