Police arrested a 13-year-old boy this week after he robbed another youth of his bicycle in Kalihi.

The victim, 12, was sitting on his bike at about 2 p.m. Wednesday when he was approached by another boy, who asked to borrow the bike, police said. When the victim refused, the older boy threatened to punch him in the face. The victim surrendered the bike and the suspect rode away.

The victim then reported the incident to officials at his school. Police located the suspect, who was identified and arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery yesterday.
