Coast Guard rescues entangled sea turtle
The Coast Guard helped rescue a sea turtle today that was entangled in a net several miles off Kaneohe.
The crew brought the turtle aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Ahi about 10:30 a.m. and removed the net and will deliver it to National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration scientists in Kaneohe Bay, the Coast Guard said.
The turtle was not injured.
