Drunk teens rescued from Moiliili building

Seven teenagers ranging in age from 16 and 18 found themselves stuck on the roof in Moiliili after a night of binge drinking and had to be rescued by firefighters early this morning, a fire department spokesman said.

The teenagers climbed to the roof of a building at 1351 South Beterania St., but at around 3 this morning couldn’t climb down and called the fire department.

Firefighters used the ladder on one of their trucks and lowered the teenagers individually using a system of ropes, pulleys and a stretcher.
