Unity Church of Hawai’i will hold its fifth annual Pet Blessing Day on Oct. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Waikiki Playground, at the corner of Paki and Monsarrrat avenues. The Rev. Sky St. John will perform a community blessing and then individual blessings of pets. Each pet and pet owner will get a photo, a certificate and a healthful treat for each beloved animal. Pet owners are asked to have their pets on a leash or in a carrier.
