Remains of man with gunshot wounds found in Manoa

The police are asking for help in identifying human remains found last month in Manoa that appear to be those of a Caucasian male with gunshot wounds to the head.

Construction workers digging in the backyard of a Oahu Avenue home discovered the remains on Sept. 28.

The workers found a sock containing what appeared to be a human foot and leg bones. Military forensic specialists called to the site believe the remains are those of a Caucasian man, 30 to 55 years old and about 5 foot 4 inches to 5 foot 6 inches tall.

He was dressed in “Penatela” Levis brand pants, dark colored shirt, white tube socks with blue trim.
