Take a leap ‘Into the Fire’ with its director and star

Actor Cha Seung Won and director John Lee arrive this week to attend the Hawaii International Film Festival’s closing-night screening of "Into the Fire" Friday at Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 Theatres.

The film is based on a true Korean War story, and as this year is the conflict’s 60th anniversary, HIFF has invited 30 Korean War veterans to the screening.

Also appearing at the festival will be actress Soo Ae, who is well known for her roles in films and popular TV series such as "Emperor of the Sea."
