Firefighters rescue lost hiker in Waimanalo Valley
Firefighters rescued a lost hiker in Waimanalo Valley around 10:30 last night and escorted him out of the valley.
The man started hiking by himself about 2:30 p.m., got lost on Demonstration Trail, and used his cell phone to call for help about 6:45 p.m., Honolulu Fire Department Capt. Terry Seelig said this morning.
