WHAT’S IN STORE

Sale will benefit Special Olympics

‘Tis the season for giving and that is what Island Heritage is doing. In addition to giving shoppers discounts via the company’s 10th annual Holiday Warehouse Sale, a portion of proceeds from sales of gift, home, bath and body products, and more will be donated to Special Olympics Hawaii.

The two-day event takes place 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Island Heritage facility in Mill Town Center, 94-411 Koaki St. in Waipahu, near Hans L’Orange Park.

Shoppers will find merchandise discounted up to 70 percent, and a variety of featured products, including etched glassware, hand-painted ceramics and perfume, will be available for less than $10 each. Other sale items include books, candles, photo accessories and stuffed animals.

Special Olympics Hawaii athletes will host a dunk tank onsite with law enforcement officials. For each successful dunk, shoppers will receive an additional 10 percent off coupon. Up to three coupons can be combined for up to 30 percent off toward any purchase during the sale.

Cash and most major credit cards will be accepted. For more information, call 564-8800 or visit www.welcometotheislands.com.
