Halawa inmate arrested for alleged threats against workers
A 39-year-old Halawa Correctional Facility inmate was arrested yesterday for allegedly threatening two female corrections workers.
The first incident occurred Aug. 25 and involved a 41-year-old worker. The second incident took place Monday and involved a 39-year-old worker.
Both terroristic threatening incidents by the male inmate were investigated by state Department of Public Safety officials before the cases were turned over to the police.
