Kapiolani Community College student robbed at knifepoint in parking lot
A Kapiolani Community College student was robbed of his belongings at knifepoint while walking in a campus parking lot about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The male student reported his backpack, cellular phone, MP3 player and headphones were stolen as he was walking through parking lot B at Makapuu Avenue and Diamond Head Road.
The suspect is described as in his late 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, and with a muscular build, tan complexion and black goatee. He was wearing a black, long-sleeved pullover shirt and jeans, KCC Campus Security said. The top of the suspect’s hand had a tattoo of triangles.
People on campus are advised to call campus security at 734-9900 or 911 in the event of a robbery or other crime. Or go to the KCC security office at Ilima 204.
