Man arrested for allegedly punching a driver in Kalihi
A 50-year-old man who thought another driver cursed at him in Kalihi was arrested yesterday on suspicion of punching the other driver.
Police said the man was making a left turn and thought the 48-year-old man, who was stopped at the light, swore at him as he drove by about 3:50 p.m.
He stopped, walked to the open driver’s side window, and hit the man in the cheek, police said. Officers arrested the man at his home at 4:40 p.m.
He was booked on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a vehicle and released pending investigation.
