Two Kauai pools closed afternoon of Dec. 14
The Kapaa and Waimea public swimming pools will be closed on the afternoon of Dec. 14 to allow lifeguards to attend an islandwide meeting.
Both pools will be open to the public that morning from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The pools are open Tuesdays through Sundays and closed on Mondays, holidays and furlough days.
