Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who robbed the downtown branch of Territorial Savings Bank today.

The man entered the bank at 1000 Bishop St. about 2 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, police said. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described as 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 11 and 220 to 230 pounds. He has short, dark hair and was wearing a beige dress shirt, khaki pants, prescription glasses and a white baseball cap.
