Toy store cashier accused of undercharging friend
A cashier at Toys ‘R’ Us was charged with 10 counts of theft for charging a friend less than the amount owed for items purchased at Toys ‘R’ Us near Pearlridge Center.
Michael Kinoshita, 23, of Numana Road in Kalihi, posted $1,000 bail for 10 counts of third-degree theft.
Police said a second employee, also a 23-year-old man, was seen on a surveillance video undercharging his friend on Sunday.
The second man and Kinoshita were arrested after arriving at work about 4 p.m. Monday. Police released the second man, pending investigation.
