I have loved camouflage patterns since small-kid times. Not the kind you buy in Sears or even Army surplus stores, but unique, hard-to-find camouflage — German, Swiss, Finnish or old patterns no longer in use. When a friend told me about zazzle.com, I was amazed to find clothing, including shoes, that could be custom printed from your own image or hundreds of thousands of their own. The selection includes more than 1,000 camouflage patterns. I’m pretty sure I have the only Hi-top PRO-Keds in Lozenge camouflage, a pattern used for World War I German aircraft. Weekend relaxation

Saturday morning yoga classes offered through the North Shore Yoga Co-op have become a weekly must for me. Restorative yoga, which uses bolsters, blankets, relaxing eye pillows and other props, is held at 8 a.m. Saturdays and also 5 p.m. Tuesdays. The class focuses on restorative yoga postures, active relaxation, breathing and meditation. It isn’t like traditional yoga, but you definitely leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and more flexible. Expanding tastes

When I think cheese, I don’t think Ireland. But that’s been my shortcoming. Somewhere between white cheddar and Parmesan lies Dubliner cheese. A new cherry soda

Kona Red is Waialua Soda Works’ newest flavor, made from Kona coffee cherries. But don’t expect this sweet drink to taste like coffee. The flavor is hard to describe, but you’ll find notes of dark cherry, plum and raspberry. The coffee cherry, the fruit that surrounds the bean, is supposedly high in antioxidants, which was the inspiration for the soda.
