Princes offer extra free night

Bishop Museum honors founder

Kamaaina and military residents can visit Bishop Museum at no charge today in honor of the museum’s founder, Charles Reed Bishop.

Bishop, who was a consultant to five generations of Hawaiian monarchs, a legislator and government official of the kingdom of Hawaii, founded the museum to honor his wife, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.

Ship will host dinner cruise

The Star of Honolulu is offering a Valentine’s Day sunset dinner cruise from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14, leaving from Pier 8 at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

Cruise tickets are $82.98 and up depending on amenities and seating. Kamaaina and military rates start at $67.22. Tax and harbor fee are not included.
