Police seize 22 guns and drugs in raid on Ewa Beach home
Police seized 22 guns along with crystal methamphetamine and marijuana during a raid at a home in Ewa Beach yesterday morning.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing stolen property and numerous firearms violations.
Police described him as a suspected drug dealer.
At a news conference this afternoon, Honolulu Prosecutor Keith Kaneshiro joined Honolulu Police Chief Louis Kealoha and other officials in urging the public to report suspicious activity.
Police Maj. Susan Dowsett of the Narcotics/Vice Division said officers executed a warrant after receiving numerous complaints from neighbors of suspicious activity coming from the house on Amio Street.
