2 Wahiawa men arrested on cockfighting charges
Honolulu police arrested two Wahiawa men on cockfighting charges yesterday afternoon.
Police arrested and cited them at a Hoihoi Ave. home in Whitmore Village at 4:20 p.m. for cruelty to animals and possession of a gaff.
Both were released on bail and scheduled to appear in Wahiawa District Court. One man posted $150. The other, who had two contempt warrants, was released on $980 bail.
