A 12-year-old girl who was about to fight another girl yesterday at Waianae Intermediate School got upset and threw a bracelet at a school employee, cutting her nose, police said.

Then as officials were taking her to an office, she kicked a door, causing less than $50 damage, police said.

Police said about 10:10 a.m., the school employee, a 59-year-old woman, confronted the girl, who threw the bracelet out of anger.

Officers arrested her on suspicion of felony assault and fourth-degree criminal property damage
